About This Event
Discover the remarkable story of Major General Maurice Rose, a Denver-raised son of a rabbi who rose to command the famed 3rd Armored Division during World War II. Guest Paul Shamon of the Rose Monument Foundation brings Rose’s military career and tragic 1945 death to life through rare artifacts and never-before-seen photographs from the General Maurice Rose collection. The program takes place at the Colorado History Museum as part of its Meet the Collection series.
