About This Event
Discover the remarkable life and military legacy of Major General Maurice Rose, a Denver-raised son of a rabbi who commanded the famed 3rd Armored Division during World War II. Guest Paul Shamon of the Rose Monument Foundation presents rare artifacts and never-before-seen photographs from the General Maurice Rose collection. The program offers history enthusiasts an intimate look at Rose’s service and his tragic death in 1945 as the highest-ranking American officer killed by enemy fire.
