Following a Line at Sync Gallery

Sync Gallery presents Following a Line, a two-person exhibition featuring new work by Sandy Marvin and Phyllis Rider. Marvin draws on her background in calligraphy to explore expressive contour, brushwork, landscape, and still-life painting, while Rider uses acrylic, solar relief etchings, and monotypes to build layered abstract works with rhythmic lines, color, and textured surfaces. The exhibition invites visitors to consider how line can connect an artist’s hand and heart with the viewer. An opening reception takes place October 16 from 5–9pm.
