About This Event
Join artist Grace Noel in her Denver Art District studio for a two-hour woodland-themed woodblock printmaking workshop. Participants will draw, carve, and print a new woodland critter while learning about materials, carving tools, printing without a press, and the full woodblock printing process. The class includes a woodblock, ink, paper, carving tools, and access to a brayer, barren, glass palette, palette knife, and printing station. The workshop is recommended for ages 12 and older; because prints require drying time, participants must return later to pick up their finished work.
