About This Event
Being on Earth brings together paintings by Clare Scott and Monica Hokeilen exploring fleeting moments, shared emotions, and humanity’s connection to the natural world. Scott’s landscapes and figures focus on essential moments of light, season, and human experience, while Hokeilen’s simplified, nearly abstract wildlife paintings invite viewers to connect with Colorado’s coyotes, pronghorn, bison, wild cats, elk, moose, and deer. The exhibition runs at Sync Gallery in Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District, with an opening reception on Friday, September 18 from 5–9pm.
