About This Event
Bitfactory Gallery presents From Under the Armillaria, a solo exhibition by Denver artist Isabella Briganti. The paintings combine classic figure painting with abstraction, surrealist elements, and imagery inspired by natural phenomena to explore longing, pain, betrayal, comfort, grief, confusion, and the complex networks formed through human relationships. The exhibition includes work developed with volunteer models from a local dance company and mycological references gathered at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The opening reception is Friday, September 18, from 6:00–9:00 PM, with gallery viewing available Tuesday–Saturday from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM and by appointment through October 10.
