About This Event
Learn the joyful Lindy Hop, a vintage swing dance born in Harlem alongside jazz music in the 1930s and ’40s. Beginning dancers learn foundational rhythms, footwork, technique, and classic social-dance moves at 6:00 PM, while intermediate dancers explore rhythm, musicality, and personal style at 7:00 PM. After class, the Lindy Jam runs from 8:00 PM to midnight with DJs playing hot vintage tracks for a lively social dance night—described as a Denver classic. October classes are taught by Cyle Dixon and Bethany Alavarez.
