About This Event
Learn the Lindy Hop, the joyful vintage swing dance born in Harlem alongside jazz music in the 1930s and ’40s. Beginning Lindy Hop starts at 6:00 PM with foundational rhythms, footwork, technique, and classic social-dance moves, while the intermediate class at 7:00 PM focuses on stylings, technique, and fast dancing with instructors Emory Roehrkasse and Ceth Stifel. From 8:00 PM to midnight, the weekly Lindy Jam fills Cervantes’ ballroom with DJs playing hot vintage tracks for a lively Denver social dance night.
