About This Event
Learn the joyful Lindy Hop, a vintage swing dance born in Harlem alongside jazz music in the 1930s and ’40s. Beginning Lindy Hop starts at 6:00 PM with foundational rhythms, footwork, technique, and classic social-dance moves, while Intermediate Lindy Hop begins at 7:00 PM with styling, technique, and fast-dancing work taught by Emory Roehrkasse and Ceth Stifel. From 8:00 PM to midnight, DJs spin hot vintage tracks for the weekly Lindy Jam, a longtime Denver swing-dance tradition.
