About This Event

Learn the fundamentals of woodblock carving and relief printmaking in a hands-on, three-hour class with artist Grace Noel. Participants will design, carve, and print an original woodblock by hand without a printing press, using provided blocks, ink, paper, carving tools, and a complete printing station. The beginner-friendly class takes place in Grace Noel’s studio in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe and is recommended for ages 14 and older. Because the prints need time to dry, finished work must be picked up the following day.
