Learn the fundamentals of woodblock carving and relief printmaking in a three-hour, beginner-friendly class with artist Grace Noel. Participants create an original design, carve a woodblock, and make hand-pulled prints without a printing press using included materials such as ink, paper, carving tools, brayers, and a printing station. The class takes place in Grace Noel’s studio in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe; because the work requires drying time, finished creations must be picked up the following day. All skill levels are welcome, and the class is recommended for ages 14 and older.
