
Held at the National Western Complex for 16 days, the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo celebrates Denver’s cowtown roots and Colorado’s agricultural and Western heritage. Visitors can watch more than 20 professional rodeos, including bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, mutton busting and the MLK Jr. African American Heritage Rodeo. The show also features livestock competitions and auctions, Olympic-style horse jumping, the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza with Mariachis and trick roping, Xtreme Dogs performances, petting farms, pony rides, stock dog competitions, Western art and acres of shopping. More than 300 activities are included with grounds admission, and the event attracts hundreds of thousands of guests from across the United States and around the world.
