About This Event

Future Archives is a multidisciplinary exhibition developed through analog artmaking, inviting interns to explore memory, identity, and creativity through collage, printmaking, and sculpture. The exhibition features individual and collaborative works made from personal histories, observations, and collected materials, while considering how emerging digital technologies affect memory, authorship, resource use, and everyday life. Visitors can experience an opening reception on July 31 and gallery hours throughout August at PlatteForum, with the work reflecting on what is gained, changed, or lost as more of human experience moves into digital spaces.
