Free guided tours of the Colorado State Capitol are available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the building is open more broadly during business hours. Visitors should check in at the Visitor Information Desk (opens at 9 a.m.) before tours. Tours provide a look at the Capitol’s history, architecture and current civic operations — a good fit for history buffs, students and out-of-town visitors.
