Tails & Tales: Book Swap + Meet & Greet with Adoptable Pets

About This Event

Join Book Swap Society in the community room at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley to browse donated books and mingle with adoptable dogs and cats. Bring at least one book to participate, lay out your books on the tables, and you may take home up to four new-to-you books per person while enjoying a friendly, low-key shelter atmosphere. At roughly the 45-minute mark, HSSPV staff will offer an optional behind-the-scenes tour of the facility so attendees can learn about the shelter’s work and meet animals up close. A $25 ticket is required (80% of proceeds go to HSSPV); space is limited and refunds are available up to 3 days before the event.
