For more than two decades Denver has lit up downtown with two free rooftop fireworks shows on New Year's Eve — a 9:00 PM family-friendly display and the midnight countdown show. The fireworks are launched from two rooftop locations, with the best public viewing corridor along 16th Street Mall near 1001 16th St. Expect a lively downtown atmosphere with great skyline views, crowds of families and visitors, and easy walkable access to restaurants and transit. Admission is free, and attendees typically gather along sidewalks and public plazas to watch the short but dramatic displays.
