About This Event

Play with fluid acrylic paint pouring while creating a painting inspired by the traits of your astrological sign. Artist Grace Noel — who is also an astrologer — will teach how the four elements (fire, earth, air, water) relate to Western and Chinese zodiac signs, guide you through canvas preparation and pouring techniques, and help you develop a design suited to your skill level. Materials are included and each student receives a take-home box; paintings may be left in-studio to dry (pick-up instructions emailed, shipping available for an extra fee). The class is beginner- and family-friendly (recommended ages 5+); the studio is in the basement of the Denver Art Society (one flight of stairs) but Grace can accommodate wheelchair access on the main floor if requested in advance.
