Created by Colorado artist Sadie Young with collaborators from Spectra Art Space, this colorful yarn and fiber-based installation invites visitors to step inside towering monster mouths, dodge playful tube creatures, and uncover hidden surprises. The work turns the “inner monsters” of rage, grief, fear, and shame into something approachable, asking viewers to reflect on how healing can come from facing the shadow self. It’s an immersive, playful, and emotionally resonant experience at one of Denver’s premier art museums.
