About This Event

Learn the basics of Lindy Hop, the joyful vintage swing dance born in Harlem during the 1930s and ’40s, in beginner and intermediate classes beginning at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. After class, stay for the Lindy Jam from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, where DJs spin hot vintage tracks and Denver dancers fill the ballroom floor. Beginners can start with foundational rhythms and footwork, while experienced dancers can work on short combinations and join a long-running local swing tradition.
