After the closing of the Pearl/Mercury Cafe building, the Friday-night jazz and poetry tradition continues at The Karma House in Lakewood. The evening begins with a short jazz set in the main bar at 7, then moves into the more intimate Headspace for a jazz jam and poetry open mic that runs late into the night. It’s a community-centered, alcohol-free gathering that celebrates the legacy of a Denver staple while introducing a new home for musicians, poets, and listeners.
