History Colorado Center is one of only eight cultural institutions nationwide chosen to display a remarkable collection of founding-era documents that have never traveled together before. See priceless artifacts such as an original engraving of the Declaration of Independence, a tally of votes approving the U.S. Constitution, a rare draft printing of the Constitution with handwritten notes, and a copy of the Treaty of Paris signed by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay. This is a once-in-a-generation chance to experience the documents that helped forge the nation alongside History Colorado’s ongoing exhibitions.
