Moth Party ~ Lightsheeting Event

About This Event

A night-time "moth party" where volunteers set up bright lights and a white sheet to attract and photograph moths and other insects for the Shasta County City Nature Challenge. The goal is to collect clear photos/observations for iNaturalist—spotting species that are often overlooked at night. The event is held in a darker, remote location to maximize insect turnout; attendees must RSVP via the required form to receive the exact location and details.
