About This Event

Red Bull Soapbox Race returns to the Mile High City for the first time in 18 years, taking over Empower Field at Mile High for a one-day spectacle of handmade soapbox crafts, hometown pride, and fearless creativity. Forty-six teams will launch from a 30-foot drop and race through a course packed with obstacles, but the real fun starts before the ramp with themed skits judged on showmanship as much as speed. The event celebrates Colorado’s mix of aerospace, mountain culture, craft brewing, and Latino heritage, all in front of a lineup of Denver-connected judges and personalities. It’s a free public event that promises loud crowds, big personalities, and plenty of crash-and-burn entertainment.
