Join us the first Wednesday of every month for a music series to celebrate two once-in-a-lifetime milestones: the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado’s statehood. This series brings together powerful music that reflects our shared heritage, evolving identity, and promising artistic future as a state and as a nation. This installment honors the uniquely American world of Hollywood and soundtrack, and its attempt to evoke ideals of freedom, injustice and identity through music in film. Featuring Julie Monley (vocals), Andy Monley (guitar and vocals), Mike Brown (bass), Frederic Desmoulins (piano and keyboards), and Ron Smith (drums).
