Civic Center STARGAZE — Season Return (November 2026)

About This Event

STARGAZE IS BACK! Join Civic Center Conservancy and AstroTours on the Great Lawn in Civic Center Park for a celestial journey right in the heart of the city. Accessible to all ages, attendees can learn from skilled astronomers about the wonders of the cosmos, constellations and their folklore, and observe the moon and other celestial bodies through high powered telescopes. Enjoy tasty food and beverages available for purchase from a local food truck to round out an enchanting evening that promises an “out of this world” experience. STAR-CAST: On March 25, you will be able to view the first-quarter moon (half-full), the Seven Sisters, Jupiter, Mizar, and Orion Nebula (viewable only during the last session). All children 12 and under require adult supervision (suggested minimum ratio of 2 kids : 1 adult). Dates are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather and/or significant cloud cover, with alternate dates to be announced.
