Meet time: 9:30 AM – arrive a bit earlier to park and get ready. Location/Meetup point: Waterton Canyon Trailhead parking lot (approx. 11300 Waterton Road, Littleton, CO 80125 or 11000 W Waterton Rd). Big open gravel lot with restrooms near the entrance; popular groups meet near the bathrooms or trail start. Ride info: Out‑and‑back on the main road (paved/gravel for first ~6.2–6.5 miles to Strontia Springs Dam/Reservoir), gentle climb (~700–1,300 ft gain round trip depending on distance), then downhill back. About 13 miles round trip to the dam—group‑friendly pace. No dogs allowed (to protect sheep). Open year‑round, dawn to dusk. Parking: Free, but fills up on weekends—arrive by 9:00 to get a spot. No overnight parking. Rules/Tips: Stay right and share the road, bring water/snacks (no early‑season water faucets), wear layers for variable March weather. Join Zhen and Samuel for a relaxed group bike ride at Waterton Canyon. Great for road or hybrid bikes, beginners welcome. Bring bike, helmet, water, snacks, and layers.
