Glowing Wild at Denver Zoo

About This Event

Glowing Wild is a limited-time, after-dark illuminated experience at Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (DZCA). Guests are invited to wander the world in a single evening, traveling from lush forests to radiant reefs on a glowing journey inspired by wildlife and conservation. The event features the glimmer of 60 illuminated scenes and 175 new larger-than-life lanterns, all handcrafted by Chinese artisans, that bring animals and their stories to light. The experience is filled with interactive surprises designed to dazzle both kids and adults. Each radiant scene is inspired by habitats from across the globe, while motion-activated lanterns bring the experience to life. Visitors can walk through radiant reefs, discover new photo opportunities at every turn, and marvel at a massive moose lantern standing 20 feet high and 60 feet wide. Throughout the evening, there are a variety of entertainment offerings, plus food and drinks available on-site. Guests are encouraged to touch, explore, eat and play their way through a memorable journey of conservation and discovery in one night. A Food + Drink Passport add-on is available, which provides three food items and three drinks (with non-alcoholic options available) redeemable at Samburu Grille, Scratch, and Café Costa. The passport is discounted when purchased online in advance and can be added during ticket checkout. The event takes place on select nights in spring, operates in most weather conditions, and does not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason, including inclement weather. Entertainment is subject to change, and in case of closure or cancellation due to extreme weather, ticket holders will be contacted with options. All participants, including infants, require a timed ticket.
