
Parker Arts presents its community-favorite Lunar New Year Celebration, honoring the Year of the Horse. The event runs Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PACE Center. This vibrant cultural celebration will feature traditional performances, martial arts, hands-on activities, mini classes, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities that highlight the rich traditions and customs of the Lunar New Year. The event is free and open to the public, but due to the popularity of the last celebration and projected attendance numbers, attendees are asked to register for one of three ticketing times: 1) 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. 2) 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. 3) 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Stage Schedule: - 8:20 – 8:40 a.m. | Lion Dance by National Martial Arts Academy - 9:00 – 9:20 a.m. | Dance, Story and Tradition by Rock Canyon High School - 9:50 – 10:10 a.m. | Traditional Dance and Instrumental Music of China by Great Wall Chinese Academy - 10:30 – 10:50 a.m. | Kung Fu/Martial Arts Demonstration by Denver Shaolin Kungfu Taichi Institute - 11:20 – 11:40 a.m. | Kung Fu/Martial Arts Demonstration by Denver Shaolin Kungfu Taichi Institute - 12:00 – 12:20 p.m. | Traditional Chinese Dances by Denver Chinese School - 12:40 – 1:00 p.m. | Vietnamese Water Puppet Show and Vietnamese Folk Dance by Global Village Academy Generously sponsored by Champion Windows, Denver7, FirstBank (now a part of PNC), and Wayne Johnson, with additional Lunar New Year partners including Asian Avenue Magazine, Colorado Dragon Boat, Denver Chinese School, Great Wall Chinese Academy, and Global Village Academy Douglas County.
