Colorado Symphony Concert Season

About This Event

Your Colorado Symphony presents relaxed, sensory-friendly performances to ensure everyone has access to live, affordable entertainment. These concerts are designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families, offering a more relaxed concert environment. Typical adaptations (as described or implied by “sensory-friendly” industry standards) may include adjusted lighting and sound levels, a welcoming attitude toward movement and noise in the audience, and a generally flexible concert experience. Guests are encouraged to contact the Colorado Symphony Box Office for specific details, accommodations, and the schedule of upcoming sensory-friendly concerts. Accessibility at Boettcher Concert Hall includes: - Wheelchair-accessible seating and companion seating, reachable via ramps inside the concert hall. - Courtesy wheelchairs available to assist guests from the Arts Complex garage or the 14th Street entrance to their seats (requestable from the House Manager on arrival or in advance by phone). - Accessible parking on levels 3, 4, and 5 of the Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) Parking Garage, with the Boettcher Concert Hall entrance on Level 3. - Accessible drop-off locations at curbside ramps at 14th & Curtis (Arts Complex main entrance) and on 13th Street (beneath the Arts Complex), with elevator access to Level 3. - An accessible path when parking at the Colorado Convention Center Garage, using Z elevators to street level, crossing Champa, then following 13th Street to the Arts Complex and taking the DPAC Garage elevators to Level 3. - Assistive Listening Devices (model LR-500 Portable Programmable Display Receiver) operating on FM radio frequency, with microphones above the stage feeding the sound system. Neckloop/t-coil options are available for users with compatible hearing aids or cochlear implants. Patrons may bring personal headsets with 3.5 mm connectors; standard stereo headphones are available on-site. A photo ID is required as a security deposit. - Large-print programs available with at least 24 hours’ advance notice by contacting the Box Office. - ASL interpretation available for any concert with 2–3 weeks’ advance request via email or phone. For detailed dates, times, and specific sensory-friendly concert programs, patrons should visit the Colorado Symphony Sensory Friendly Concerts page or contact the Box Office directly.
