Featured Poet: Lakeisha Ashley (L.A) 6:00 PM - L.A will perform an original poem celebrating AfroLatinidad. 6:15–7:00 PM - Join poet L.A. and help create a collective poem together—add your voice! 7:00 PM - Community poem recital. About the poet: Born and raised in Denver, Lakeisha Ashley is a multidisciplinary creative and author of "A Love Letter to My Grandma." Her poetry weaves healing, identity, womanhood, ancestral connection, and wisdom—guiding others to reclaim self through movement and self-expression.
