
The American Museum of Western Art, located in the historic Navarre Building, is the permanent home of the Anschutz Collection. Over 300 paintings by more than 180 artists are displayed in a salon style, providing visitors with a survey of Western art and a deeper understanding of the history and beauty of the American West over time. Public museum hours are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 to 16:30. During open hours, guests may explore three floors of galleries. Guided tours during public hours run from 10:00 to 13:00. The museum is a special historical and educational venue featuring Western paintings spanning multiple periods and artists, presented in an intimate, multi-floor gallery setting.
