CinemaQ is Denver’s only LGBTQ+ film festival, celebrating the community’s vibrant and diverse stories through a curated selection of movies, panels, discussions, and iconic events. The festival showcases a wide range of queer experiences and perspectives on screen, with opportunities for audiences to engage with filmmakers, activists, and community leaders. The 2026 edition of CinemaQ will feature: - Screenings of LGBTQ+ feature films, documentaries, and shorts - Panel discussions and post-film Q&As - Community gatherings and special events connected to the festival - A dedicated Black Lives Queerly (BLQ) track in partnership with Black Pride Colorado, created to explore Black Lives Queerly and ensure that Black queer folks and all members of the community have the opportunity to see themselves represented, celebrate together, watch, and discuss. Attendees can purchase festival passes through the official ticketing platform and are encouraged to stay informed about programming updates and announcements via Denver Film’s website and mailing list. Ways to support the festival include becoming a sponsor, volunteering, or joining Friends of CinemaQ to directly support the program and receive special perks. Note: Specific daily screening schedules and individual event times are not listed on this page; those details will be available via the CinemaQ Eventive site and future programming announcements.
