Civic Center Night Market

About This Event

Civic Center Night Market is a new evening market concept at Denver’s Civic Center Park produced by Civic Center Conservancy in partnership with a selected market operator. The activation is envisioned as a vibrant food and beverage marketplace with artisan retail and live entertainment that brings together Denver’s diverse communities. The Night Market will feature food trucks, stands, and carts; local beer, wine, and spirits vendors; local artisan retail merchants and craft vendors; a performing arts stage for local talent; and a family and kids activation area, all during evening hours. The Conservancy aims to attract 3,000–5,000 patrons per night, ranging in age from 0–99, with a concentration in the 21–45 age range. The event emphasizes elevating vendors and performers from historically marginalized communities, including women, BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQ+, and people-with-disabilities communities. The market will be produced up to three times in summer and early fall, on pre-permitted Friday evenings. Each date requires same‑day setup and teardown. The Conservancy provides project management, permitting, site operations (fencing, toilets, waste, security, etc.), marketing, and base underwriting, while the selected Partner curates vendors and performers, designs the event layout and experience, manages vendor applications and fees, and oversees on‑site operations. The opportunity is framed in the context of Civic Center Conservancy’s mission to keep Civic Center Park active and thriving for all, and its commitment to diversity, equity, access, and inclusion. The Night Market responds to community feedback from the “Civic Center Next 100” planning process calling for more year‑round and evening activation in the park.
