Civic Center Eats

About This Event

Civic Center EATS is a beloved weekly downtown Denver tradition returning in May 2026. The event brings together dozens of food trucks for nearly 1,000+ visitors to enjoy lunch in Civic Center Park each week. EATS offers food truck vendors a consistent weekly lunchtime gig in a highly visible and highly trafficked location at the intersections of Denver’s business, arts, and government districts. The 2026 edition will take place on Bannock Street, between Colfax Avenue and 14th Avenue, directly in front of the Denver City and County Building. The 2026 season runs Wednesdays and Thursdays from May through October and is divided into three seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall). Vendors may apply for regularly scheduled slots for up to two seasons and will be assigned to a regular Wednesday or Thursday slot per season. There is also a Drop-in/Substitutes Vendor List for filling occasional vacancies and special opportunities. Spring Season: May 13–June 25, 2026 (7 weeks). Dates: May 13/14, 20/21, 27/28; June 3/4, 10/11, 17/18, 24/25. Summer Season: July 8–August 27, 2026 (7 weeks). Dates: July 8/9, 15/16, 22/23, 29/30; August 5/6, 19/20, 26/27 (no EATS on August 12/13). Fall Season: September 9–October 15, 2026 (6 weeks). Dates: September 9/10, 16/17, 23/24, 30/October 1, 7/8, 14/15. EATS is produced by Civic Center Conservancy, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping the City and County of Denver restore, enhance, and activate Civic Center Park. All proceeds from the event support this mission. The event is family-friendly and takes place outdoors in a public park; dogs are typically welcome on-leash in this setting unless otherwise posted. Food trucks are categorized as Entrée (main lunch courses, with optional beverages and desserts) or Beverage/Dessert (at least 60% of sales from drinks and/or dessert items). Vendors accepted for a weekly spot can pay week-by-week or at a discounted seasonal rate. Due to limited space, vendors are selected based on cuisine type and variety, presentation, price and portion size, menu quality and balance, sales success, social media presence, and overall fit with the event’s feel and community harmony. First-time applicants and businesses with owners from historically marginalized groups (Women, Black, Latino, Indigenous/Native American, Pacific Islander, Asian, Disabled, and LGBTQ+ individuals) are strongly encouraged to apply.
