An online, browser-based jigsaw puzzle featuring Denver Union Station. The puzzle is part of VISIT DENVER's "Denver Digital Puzzles" series and can be played on phone, tablet, or desktop via the embedded Jigsaw Explorer puzzle player. The image showcases Denver Union Station, a renovated 1914 Beaux-Arts train station located in the heart of downtown Denver. The station is home to 10 chef-owned restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the 112-room Crawford Hotel, and serves as the terminal for the University of Colorado A Line train to and from Denver International Airport. The building is LEED-Gold certified for its use of recycled materials, increased ventilation, natural light, and a green cleaning policy in the lower level bus concourse. HOW THE PUZZLE WORKS The puzzle runs in the Jigsaw Explorer Puzzle Player. It supports a wide range of piece counts (from 6 up to more than 1000 pieces), multiplayer mode with shared game links, and various customization options. Players can drag and drop pieces, toggle edge-only view, and modify puzzle settings such as number of pieces and theme colors. KEY FEATURES AND CONTROLS - Save: Puzzles in progress are automatically saved in the browser (cookies must be enabled and not in privacy mode). Jigsaw Explorer remembers the ten most recently uncompleted puzzles. - Rotate: Piece rotation can be enabled via the circular arrow icon or by using the "Modify this Puzzle" menu. When enabled, pieces can be rotated with the mouse scroll wheel, left/right arrow keys, or by tapping on touch screens. - Capture and Release: A mode that allows capturing multiple pieces and moving them as a group. Use the "Capture and Release" button in the toolbar to toggle. Capture by clicking or swiping over pieces while holding the mouse button; release by clicking or swiping over open space. Entire stacks can be captured or released by jiggling the mouse while holding the button. - Edges Only / Rearrange: The Edges Only (dotted box icon) button hides interior pieces so you can focus on the border. It can also rearrange loose, unmoved pieces toward the perimeter. If there are fewer than 10 loose pieces remaining, or if Shift is held when clicking, all loose pieces move to the perimeter. - Timer: The puzzle timer can be paused by clicking it. - Multiplayer: Players can create a special game link to invite others to play the same puzzle together online. More details are available on the Jigsaw Explorer multiplayer page. - Restart Puzzle: You can restart from the beginning by opening the program menu, selecting "Modify this Puzzle," and then choosing a new piece count. SHORTCUT KEYS - b: Momentarily display the box-top cover image. - c: Toggle capture and release mode. - p: Pause the timer. - r: Rearrange loose, unmoved puzzle pieces. - t: Change theme color. - Esc: Dismiss messages, applause, capture mode, etc. TROUBLESHOOTING & TIPS - If pieces look fuzzy or out of focus, reduce the browser zoom level to improve clarity. - To view the completed image for reference, hover over or click the image icon at the top of the puzzle screen. Clicking will keep the image displayed at all times. - Reloading the puzzle lets you change the number of pieces to adjust difficulty.
