The Mile High Tree

Celebrate the season as the Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus becomes a Holiday Village filled with favorite Denver traditions. The Mile High Tree is a 110-foot-tall conical structure, 10 feet higher than the tallest Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in history. It contains 60,000 LED lights and can accommodate up to 140 guests underneath for an immersive viewing experience. The tree is lit throughout the season, with a rotating selection of festive and diverse songs synchronized with dazzling light displays. Light-and-music shows start every 15 minutes during open hours. Admission is free for all visitors. A special New Year’s Eve experience is part of the event, featuring a ball drop-style countdown at 21:00 on December 31. The tree is part of the broader Holiday Village at Tivoli Quad, near the Denver Christkindlmarket, Mile High Drone Shows, and the Western Carousel.
