About This Event

Whether you’re drawn to Día de los Muertos celebrations, contemporary exhibits or hands-on creative experiences, these First Fridays are your ticket to exploring Denver’s artistic soul. On November 6, 2026, multiple creative districts and neighborhoods across the Denver metro area host coordinated First Friday Art Walks, with galleries, studios, and cultural spaces open to the public, along with special programming such as Día de los Muertos altars, Aztec dancers, live music, food trucks, and family-friendly creative activities. 2025's participating districts listed on this page (with 2026 details to be confirmed) include: • 40 West Arts District – District Art Crawl with Día de los Muertos exhibitions, altars, Aztec dancers, Indigenous and Latino/a/x artists, food trucks, hands-on craft stations, and a free shuttle bus running every 15 minutes between both sides of the district. • Aurora Cultural Arts District – First Friday art walk featuring diverse arts, cultural history, and venues such as DAVA, The People's Building, breweries, and small businesses. • Art District on Santa Fe – A Latino-heritage-rich district where art-lovers descend on Santa Fe Drive. Art from hundreds of artists is displayed in galleries, studios, co-ops, upstairs, downstairs, in alleys, and on the street. Includes the district’s annual Día de Muertos celebration hosted by Museo de las Americas. • RiNo (River North) Arts District – Street art–famous industrial revival district with multiple locations and events ranging from art openings to live music, and the RiNo ArtPark, an interdisciplinary arts center open to all. • Tennyson Berkeley Association – First Friday stroll featuring artists on display along the block, including Modern Magic’s “This Land is Our Land” 9‑piece series at Ohana Yoga + Barre, and celebrations at Berkeley Untapped and Empourium Brewing Co. with local art and live music. Note: The page states that these lists describe 2025’s participating districts and that visitors should check back for 2026 First Friday details, but the main date for Denver Arts Week First Friday Art Walks on this page is November 6, 2026.
