Each year Denver's Historic Five Points Neighborhood transforms into a hub of entertainment and celebration for the community in honor of Juneteenth, the day when the last of the nation’s enslaved people learned of their freedom. The 2026 Juneteenth Music Festival is a three‑day celebration featuring multiple events: • Southern Soul Plaza Party – Friday, June 19th, at Five Points Plaza from 18:00–23:00. This intimate ticketed event and fundraiser kicks off the Juneteenth weekend in style with live performances, curated DJ sets, local food and drinks, line dancing, and a vibrant gathering of community members committed to sustaining and growing Juneteenth programming. • 15th Annual Street Festival – Saturday, June 20th, centered around 2700 Welton Street from 12:00–20:00. An engaging, interactive experience designed for makers, innovators, and Denver’s premier Juneteenth event, attracting 20,000+ attendees for a free street festival and day‑long celebration of freedom with live performances, vendors, food, and family‑friendly activities. The event emphasizes building meaningful relationships within a vibrant community. • Juneteenth Hop – Sunday, June 21st, at multiple venues along Welton Street from 14:00–24:00. This one‑of‑a‑kind bar and venue crawl finishes the Juneteenth weekend in the heart of Denver’s Historic Five Points, celebrating culture, community, and live entertainment. Attendees journey through a collection of local bars, breweries, and cultural spaces along Welton Street, each featuring curated live performances that showcase the rich traditions of jazz, soul, hip‑hop, and beyond. The festival is recurring daily across June 19–21, 2026. It is primarily free to attend, with some individual components (such as the Southern Soul Plaza Party) being ticketed fundraisers.
